Reasons for Ajax Sunday, May 28, 2006

Its interesting to think that while I am (or should be =P) thinking of how Ajax can help enhance the "User Experience" involved in performing the "User Tasks" involved in accessing OPACs in an academic setting (or otherwise?), it also makes sense to think of how Ajax affects/enhances other factors, like for example, business factors (like what this less technical introduction might achieve) But i guess no matter which context you put it in, it will always revolve around the same attributes of productivity, effectiveness, usability, flexibility, etc. In the end, its just about the user and the processes involved with the user. After all, no matter what weblication you have, it offers some kind of "service" to the user.
