Edit then List VS List then Edit Sunday, May 28, 2006

I found a quite confusing article on UI design. And although Im not really getting all the exposition, I must agree with the comment by TuringTest in that the article seems to address things from a developer's point of view. And having read tonnes of Design principles in the past month, the first thing that lighted up in my head was a big nono neon lit bulletin board.

I cant seem to get a lock on what he is trying to say or trying so hard to vividly portray. But in any case, whether it is List then Edit or Edit then List, I must agree with Steve Krug here, if it makes the user think, then its bad either way.
